Storage sizes available: 32GB, 64GB, 128GB, 256GB and 512GB. 5. SanDisk Extreme Plus - Best value for 4K video. Price When Reviewed: From $43.99 (32GB) | $79.99 (128GB) The Extreme Plus is a step down from the Extreme PRO range of microSD cards, but it certainly doesn't disappoint. The SanDisk Extreme series, on the other hand, offers more power and faster read/write speeds than the Ultra line. These enhanced capabilities enable the Extreme series to support higher-quality 4K video recording and high burst rate for action shooting, which are often sought after by more advanced or professional photographers. So I just bought a Sandisk Extreme 512GB card from the Western Digital website for when I eventually get my Deck, it got here today and I can't help but notice that the font on the card is slightly different than usual, my other sandisk cards seem to use bold text while the lettering on the this one looks thinner.
San Disk Ultra vs Extreme I was just looking online and I can pick up a 64Gb sandisk ultra for under 40 euro but I am worried about performance in writing things like 4k video. This site shows the two from a USB performance but I presume the micro sd stats would be similar.
Both cards are overkill performance wise and $25 for 16GB is a terrible value. Just get the Lexar 633x that does ~95MB/s write for $65 and it includes a USB3.0 card reader. The GoPro H3B+ writes at 45Mb/s (bits) that's less than 6MB/s (bytes). These cards can do 90+MB/s (Bytes). Either card or even the older SanDisk Extreme are over kill for
